Moira Glass-Mirror is proudly run by owners Christina and Pierre Moussa. Together, they bring over 40 years of combined experience in the industry. In 2002, Christina and Pierre founded Superior Glass & Mirror Inc., located in Oshawa, ON. The business began with a single truck and a desire to grow within the trade and has since expanded into a successful small business in the Durham region. The Moussa family then decided to bring their passion for the glazing industry to Belleville, purchasing Moira Glass-Mirror to continue sharing their knowledge and expertise with surrounding communities.
At Moira Glass & Mirror, we are able to supply, install and repair the most superior commercial and residential products available. We provide free estimates, energy-wise products and manufacturer’s warranties. Our experienced glass installers are prompt and tidy, leaving your premises as pristine as when we arrived. We respect your property as though it were our own. Scores of repeat customers can attest to our workmanship and attention to detail.
Our History
In 1970, Barb and Derek Lawday began their labour of love and created Moira Glass & Mirror. Derek brought his certification as a glazier from Wales to Canada and cut his first piece of glass in the family home in Corbyville.
By 1973, it became clear that Moira Glass was going to need a home of its own. The purchase of a horse stable built in the early 1800s on Pinnacle Street was the perfect location. Several additions later, Moira Glass-Mirror continues to thrive in the very same building.
Until her passing in May 2016, Debbie, daughter of Barb and Derek Lawday, still owned and operated Moira Glass & Mirror. Debbie’s commitment to her customers and community, along with her devotion to the family business has allowed Moira Glass & Mirror to flourish.
Moira Glass & Mirror changed hands in July 2017 when Pierre and Christina took over. They have since worked tirelessly to build upon the foundations set by the Lawday family to continue improving their services in the Belleville community.
